The veterinary student actively participates in the medical and technical activities of the clinic, contributing to patient care, technical support, and assisting in consultations and surgery under veterinary supervision. Responsibilities include performing delegated tasks such as physical exams, sample collection, administering treatments, and monitoring hospitalized animals.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an avma-Accredited veterinary medicine program and must be authorized to work in canada. The role is a paid summer internship/Employment lasting 6 to 12 weeks, requiring 30 to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
