The veterinary student actively participates in the clinic's medical and technical activities, contributing to patient care, technical support, and assisting in consultations and surgery under veterinarian supervision. Responsibilities include performing delegated tasks such as physical exams, sample collection, administering treatments, and monitoring hospitalized animals.
Candidates must be enrolled in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an avma-Accredited veterinary medicine program and be authorized to work in canada. The role is a paid summer internship/Employment lasting 6 to 12 weeks, requiring 30 to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
