Veterinary students will gain supplementary practical experience in a clinical setting, focusing on developing technical and interpersonal skills under the supervision of a mentor veterinarian. The program aims to deepen clinical skills learned at university, provide exposure to client interactions, and introduce concepts of lifelong learning.

Applicants must be actively enrolled in an accredited veterinary medicine program, specifically in their third, fourth, or fifth year of study. Candidates must be available for a minimum duration of 1 week up to 3 weeks, and are generally responsible for their own expenses, although free housing is available at select locations.
