Core responsibilities
Key duties involve developing and implementing interventions for children and families to reduce risk factors while enhancing protective factors, integrating roles such as coach, mentor, and advocate. Responsibilities also include enhancing parental capacity through skill support, significant report writing, data collection, and building relationships with various stakeholders.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a human services related field (Equivalencies considered) and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with children and families. Required knowledge includes child development, systems theory, trauma informed care, and the child protection system, alongside strong communication and assessment skills.
