Core responsibilities
The program facilitator is responsible for creating and facilitating remarkable youth group programming, focusing on engagement, social-Emotional learning, life skills, and progress toward self-Sufficiency. Key duties include providing a safe learning environment, facilitating group sessions using trauma-Informed lenses, and acting as a liaison with families and external agencies.
Requirements summary
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field like social work or child and youth care, along with 2-5 years of experience working with youth. Essential requirements include cultural competence, strong organizational skills, flexibility for evening/Weekend work, and current first aid/Cpr certification, along with necessary background checks.
