Core responsibilities
The early childhood educator will assist in providing a play-Based, emergent curriculum program for kindergarten before and after school care for children aged 4-6 years. Key tasks include planning developmentally appropriate activities, implementing early literacy, modeling behavior management, and ensuring compliance with alberta child care licensing regulations.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess an early childhood diploma or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of level 1 ece certification through the government of alberta. A minimum of two years of experience working with kindergarten-Age children and their families is required, alongside strong communication, relationship building, and program planning skills.
