- Share indigenous knowledge, teachings, and perspectives through programming, interpretation, and events.
- Build relationships with indigenous communities and partners.
- Support staff and visitors in understanding indigenous histories and realities.
- Create opportunities for indigenous voices to be heard and celebrated
Requirements summary
- Lived experience as part of treaty 7 indigenous cultures.
- Secondary school education or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of first nations history, culture, language, and traditional activities.
- Experience in customer service, museum education, or interpretation (Preferred).
- Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Physically capable of handling artifacts and working outdoors in weather extremes
