Student respiratory therapists will observe patient respiratory management, shadow clinicians, and be introduced to the care of complex, chronic, and palliative patients in community settings. Responsibilities also include learning about respiratory equipment setup, patient assessment, education, and administrative processes within the ontario health network.
Applicants must be students currently enrolled in a recognized canadian respiratory therapy program and completing their second year of study. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate enthusiasm for exceptional patient care, be team-Focused, customer service driven, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
