Student respiratory therapists will observe respiratory management, shadow clinicians, and be introduced to the care of complex, chronic, and palliative patients in various community settings. They will also learn about respiratory equipment setup, patient assessment, education, and administrative processes within the ontario health network.
Applicants must be students currently enrolled in a recognized canadian respiratory therapy program and in the process of completing their second year of study. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate enthusiasm for patient care, be team-Focused, customer service-Driven, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
