The career counsellor will assess client skills, facilitate training, identify employment opportunities, and assist clients with job search activities within the lifemark cares program. Key duties include providing career counseling, facilitating workshops, conducting assessments, and ensuring sustainability in job placements through direct support.
Minimum qualifications require a bachelor's degree or diploma in social sciences or a related field, along with experience in career and employment counseling and job development/Placement. Familiarity with the alberta labour market, experience with vulnerable populations, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
