The early childhood educator is primarily responsible for coordinating and leading their team in planning and implementing programs and daily activities for children. Key duties include providing supervision, incorporating the four foundations of learning into programming, and maintaining open communication with parents regarding child development.
Candidates must possess an early childhood educator diploma from a recognized ontario college and be registered with the college of early childhood educators. Required qualifications also include up-To-Date first aid, cpr, immunization, and a 2-Tiered tb test, along with experience using aqi, elect, how does learning happen, and cceya.
