The early childhood assistant (Eca) is primarily responsible for supporting the registered early childhood educator (Rece) in planning and implementing programs and daily activities for children. This includes maintaining a high-Quality environment, observing and caring for individual child needs, and ensuring open communication with parents and team members.
Candidates must possess up-To-Date first aid and cpr certifications, current immunization records, and a two-Tiered tb test. Essential qualifications include confidence and flexibility in working with all age groups from infants to school age, the ability to manage challenging behaviors, and excellent communication skills for parent interaction.
