Position Summary
The Learning & Development (L&D) Intern will support the Training & Development team in creating, organizing, and delivering engaging learning experiences for employees across the organization. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate training, learning technologies, and employee development initiatives while contributing to key projects that enhance organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and scheduling of training sessions (virtual and in-person)
- Support Learning Management System (LMS) administration, including:
- Uploading and organizing training materials
- Assigning courses and tracking completion
- Troubleshooting basic LMS issues
- Help maintain and update internal training resources (e.g., SharePoint or intranet)
- Assist in the creation and formatting of training materials (presentations, guides, job aids)
- Support reporting and tracking of training metrics (completion rates, attendance, feedback)
- Participate in the development of new learning content and programs
- Conduct research on learning trends, tools, and best practices
- Assist with onboarding and new hire training coordination
- Provide administrative support to the training team as needed
- Support special projects related to employee development and engagement

- Education & Skill Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in:
- Human Resources
- Business Administration
- Education
- Organizational Development or related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., UKG, TalentLMS) is an asset
- Experience with SharePoint or similar tools is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Technically savvy with ability to learn new programs quickly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Training
· It will be necessary to participate in upgrading courses from time to time to keep abreast of changing policy, technology, and growth.
Pay Rate -Hourly: $20
