The demand and supply planner is responsible for creating and maintaining forecast models by incorporating business intelligence from various departments and managing inventory levels across the supply chain to meet demand while minimizing waste and costs. Key accountabilities include developing operational demand forecasts, establishing purchase plans, managing inbound supply, and monitoring inventory reconciliation.
Candidates need at least two years of relevant supply chain planning or purchasing experience, demonstrating proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods along with their financial impacts. Detailed knowledge of mrp/Drp, inventory management systems, and erp systems like oracle is required, with advanced excel skills being a plus.
