The role involves acting as a ymca ambassador, demonstrating core values, and providing coaching, direction, and technique demonstration for equipment use and expected outcomes. Responsibilities also include conducting personal training sessions, individual program reviews, monitoring equipment use, and performing routine facility maintenance.
Candidates need two or more years of training/Post-Secondary education in physical or health education or a related field, combined with at least one year of related work experience, or a combination thereof. Essential qualifications include excellent customer service skills, specific ymca certifications, computer proficiency (Word, excel, outlook), and current first aid/Cpr.
