Responsibilities include learning and covering multiple routes on short notice, conducting thorough daily safety inspections, and operating the vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and safety protocols. The driver must also maintain order among students during loading/Unloading and assist with bus maintenance tasks.
Candidates must possess a current b or f class license with a minimum of three years of continuous driving experience and a current driving abstract in good standing. Additional requirements include obtaining a vulnerable sector police check and holding or acquiring first aid/Cpr-C certification.
