Core responsibilities

The worker will promote effective parenting and child development by providing support and education using evidence-Based techniques to high-Need/High-Risk parents of children from prenatal to six years old. Responsibilities include conducting outreach, providing home visits, implementing developmental screening strategies, and facilitating access to community resources.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess strong parenting skills, demonstrated sensitivity to stressed families, and extensive knowledge of child development and community resources. Required qualifications include strong written and verbal communication skills in english and a second language, experience facilitating adult training sessions, computer literacy, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
