Core responsibilities

The peer support mentor will assist in running peer support sessions for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism, sharing lived experience and creating accessible program materials. Responsibilities also include tracking group progress, co-Designing surveys, and connecting participants with necessary resources.

Requirements summary

Candidates must have lived experience with an intellectual developmental

Disability (Idd) and meet educational requirements

Highschool diploma plus 2 years of experience/Volunteering, or a college diploma plus 1 year of experience/Volunteering. Required attributes include leadership interest, organization, teamwork, comfort with group presentation, and passing a police records check.
