After School Program Assistant

The after school program assistant supports the program lead by maintaining safety and ensuring a high-Quality program for school-Age children (4-12 years). Responsibilities include supervising children, preparing snacks, assisting with academic activities, and implementing various curriculum components like art, stem, and social skills.

Candidates need two years of experience working with school-Age children in a recreation or academic setting, along with strong english communication skills and academic ability to assist with homework up to grade 6. Required certifications include high five training, whmis, and standard first aid/Cpr level c, along with an acceptable police record check.
