The role involves proactively ensuring the leadership, proper functioning, sound management, and coherent academic development of the faculty of arts and faculty of science (Fafs), ensuring programs are innovative and recognized for quality. The incumbent will also exercise campus-Wide leadership, collaborate with peers, and advise on strategic development for fafs and the university.
The ideal candidate must hold a doctorate, preferably in a discipline associated with fafs units, along with solid experience in university teaching and research, and an understanding of education in a french-Language minority setting. Proven skills in managing financial and human resources in unionized environments, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills in both french and english are essential.
