Requirements summary

  • Our mission is to work with our educational partners to inspire engaged, compassionate, resilient lifelong learners and cultivate a collaborative community together.</p><p><b>We invite applications for the temporary position of:</b></p><div><ul><li>0.40 FTE Grades K-8 Generalist & Blended Learning HLC Teacher - Outdoor Learning</li><li>Must be able to provide face to face instruction in Nanaimo, BC - Aligned Learning Society. </li><li>Please note that this temporary position is subject to enrollment</li></ul><p>The Heartwood Learning Communities (HLC) are blended learning programs with students from Kindergarten - Grade 9.
  • HLC teachers support students in multi-grade classes, with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Each HLC is unique in their face to face offering and students may be face to face up to 2.5 days per week.
