Market context
BC school SLP roles remain selective
In British Columbia, school-based speech language pathologist openings are often competitive because districts look for candidates with graduate training, current BC College membership, and experience supporting school-age children, especially K-3 and students with complex needs. For a 0.4 FTE continuing role, part-time availability and comfort working across elementary settings can matter. On this platform, the requirements and benefits are AI-summarized from the original job description, helping you review the role faster. Before applying, confirm your membership status and prepare examples of school-based assessment and intervention work.
