<p><b>Administrative Assistant – Admission</b></p><p>Job Description</p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>We are a faith-based independent school located in beautiful Nelson, British Columbia, and we are seeking an <strong>Administrative Assistant – Admission</strong> to join our dynamic team.</p><p>The Administrative Assistant – Admission to support our student admissions and enrollment process. This role provides administrative and clerical support by coordinating admissions activities, maintaining student records, preparing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and delivering exceptional service to prospective and current families.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Process student applications for admissions and re-enrollment.</li><li>Respond to inquiries from prospective families regarding admissions and enrollment.</li><li>Coordinate school tours, interviews, and admissions appointments.</li><li>Prepare admissions correspondence, forms, and enrollment documentation.</li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential student records and databases.</li><li>Prepare reports and assist with Ministry reporting requirements.</li><li>Provide administrative support, including scheduling, filing, document preparation, and general office duties.</li><li>Assist with admissions events and collaborate with school administrators to support enrollment activities.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.</li><li>Minimum three (3) years of administrative or office experience; admissions or customer service experience is an asset.</li><li>Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.</li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Legally authorized to work in Canada.</li><li>A clear Criminal Record Check suitable for working with children and vulnerable persons is required.</li><li>Commitment to supporting the mission and Christian values of Nelson Christian School Society.</li><li>Candidate must be in agreement with our statement of faith.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>
