The successful candidate will require a Professional A Teaching Certificate, good standing and registration with the SPTRB, 2 years of High School teaching experience. This position will instruct Mathematics at the 20 and 30 level, Financial Literacy 30, English Language Arts 30, and 30 level electives. Targeted for bumping Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA) Job Duties Job Duties Provide instruction in Mathematics at the 20 and 30 level, Financial Literacy 30, English Language Arts 30, and 30 level electives. 1. Manage the classroom to ensure an optimum learning environment. 2. Plan and deliver learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs and contributions of a culturally diverse community. 3. Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students. 4. Maintain records of achievement, attendance and other student related information and report such information as required. 5. Identify resources and equipment appropriate to support curriculum/course implementation. 6. Be reflective of and responsive to accommodation of special learning needs including equity groups and diverse learners. 7. Be flexible and responsive to learner needs through the use of appropriate instructional methodologies. 8. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) 1. Bachelor of Education or an equivalent. 2. Valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate. 3. Good standing and registration with the Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board. 4. Minimum of 2 years of high school teaching experience with subject specialization as described in special instructions for applicants. 5. Effective communication skills (written and oral). 6.
