The Hill Levene School of Business at the University of Regina invites applications for one Sessional Lecturer to teach the following Hybrid (On-site/Remote) course during the Fall 2026 semester: BUS 100 – Introduction to Business This course will introduce students to the functional areas of business in a variety of organizations. BUS 100 009 class starts from September 14, 2026 to December 11, 2026 with Final Exam on Monday, December 14, 2026, from 16:00 to 18:45. Maximum enrolment for this course is 60 and a Teacher Assistant may be provided if requested and available. Sessional Lecturers that are teaching in person classes are expected to teach 13 synchronous classes throughout the semester in person on campus. Expectations for Sessional Lecturers include, but aren’t limited to, the following: Preparing the course outline, designing relevant assignments, evaluating and grading student work, and submitting student grades on time; Teaching course content that follows the course description, established learning objectives, and university academic guidelines; Delivering 13 2.75-hour lectures throughout the semester (unless otherwise discussed with the Associate Dean); Encouraging and maintaining a safe and collaborative classroom environment; Providing regular support to students on course work as required before and after each class, during office hours, and as required by students; Meeting all submission deadlines as outlined by the Hill School of Business; Consulting with the Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programs) on academic or student-related matters as needed; and Other duties as assigned.
