This teacher would be responsible for overseeing our students with diverse abilities.
This would include managing, updating, and producing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) by meeting with parents, students, teachers, educational assistants (EAs) and resource support providers (speech language pathologists, behavior interventionalist, etc.) and then implementing, monitoring and supporting students in reaching IEP goals.
This role also includes scheduling and supporting educational assistants and resource support providers and assisting teachers and EAs in creating classroom and resources which support students with diverse needs and providing assistance and support to students in various capacities.
Applicants with experience in working in learning resource, creating and managing IEPs, and knowledge of CISVA procedures would be an asset.
