ECS 303 – Curriculum and Pedagogy 2 This course is intended to develop teacher candidates understanding of learners, learning, and teaching by drawing on various theoretical understandings of education for social and ecological justice. This course makes explicit the philosophical underpinnings of pedagogy, and the link between curriculum theory and practice. Position Requirements Normally it is preferred that applicants will have a Master of Education degree appropriate to the area of instruction. Applicants should also have experience in the education system appropriate to the content of the course applied for, knowledge of, and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum, knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs, and current knowledge of issues related to the course for which the applicant has applied. University teaching experience is an asset.
