About Us
At the Saskatchewan Foster Families Association (SFFA), we support foster families and help create safe, nurturing environments for children and youth in care across Saskatchewan.
Position Overview
SFFA is seeking compassionate, energetic, and reliable individuals for Summer Childcare Worker positions. This seasonal role involves supporting children and youth in foster homes through daily care, recreational activities, outings, and transportation assistance.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, supportive, and engaging childcare
- Plan and participate in summer activities and outings
- Assist with transportation for visits, appointments, and activities
- Help maintain a clean and organized home environment
- Support children’s emotional well-being and daily routines
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and positive communication
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or youth is an asset
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
