Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA) Job Duties Job Duties Check links and content prior to the start of the course, update resources as needed. Communicate with students regularly, mark assignments, monitor student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback. Manage and review exam submissions as required and finalize official grades. Other job duties will include: 1. Plan/facilitate the delivery of a learning program or course at Community Paramedic level. Provide tutorial, counseling assistance, facilitate labs, skill practice, evaluate course/program and results of teaching process. Revise and maintain curriculum. 2. Develop and maintain community/agency partnerships. 3. Manage the learning environment. 4. Must be able to travel. 5. Facilitate distance learning using Brightspace LMS. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) 1. Completion of ACP (Advanced Care Paramedic) program from an approved school. 2. Completion of and Advanced Certificate Community Paramedic program from an approved school. 3. Current license with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics, that includes three (3) years minimum Community Paramedic endorsement. 4. Understanding and ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education to assist learners with the Community Paramedic knowledge and skills. 5. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including excellent written and oral presentation skills and an ability to develop and maintain productive working relations with instructors, program administrators, employers, students, other clients and the public. 6. Demonstrates valuing diversity. 7. Preference given to candidates with previous experience facilitating Community Paramedic education. 8. Must have working knowledge of instruction with Learning Management System Brightspace. 9. Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s license. Desired QSA
