Position Summary

Successful candidates will be assigned to supervise student teachers throughout the province. Sessional Supervisors will be on call to meet the needs of student teachers in the field; such students will be identified and assigned through the Field Experience office. Supervisors will act as liaison persons for the faculty offering resources, guidance, and support for the cooperating teacher and interns. Sessional Supervisors are expected to be available to visit and provide support/guidance as needed by the interns and/or cooperating teachers for the duration of the internship. Remuneration for this position is based on the current rate of $694.52 per assigned intern student teacher congruent with the URFA Collective Agreement. Please note if circumstances emerge that interrupt the completion of the contract, payment will be prorated for work completed. Les superviseurs feront office de relais pour la faculté, en proposant des ressources, des conseils et un soutien aux enseignants de stage et aux stagiaires. Les superviseurs de session doivent être disponibles pour effectuer des visites et apporter leur soutien ou leurs conseils aux stagiaires et/ou aux enseignants coopérants, selon les besoins, pendant toute la durée du stage. La rémunération pour ce poste est basée sur le taux actuel de 694,52 $ par stagiaire affecté, conformément à la convention collective de l’URFA. Veuillez noter que si des circonstances surviennent qui empêchent l’exécution complète du contrat, le paiement sera calculé au prorata du travail effectué. Position Requirements Normally applicants will have a Master’s degree in Education and experience in the education system appropriate to the area of supervision applied for, knowledge and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum, and knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs. Applicants should have proficiency with K-12 curriculum documents and be abreast with current pedagogical approaches in the K-12 system. Must be fluent in French and must have access to personal vehicle. Attendance of a hybrid field advisor orientation on August 25, 2026. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, and the work associated with this position must be performed within Canada.
