Position Title
- Research Assistants - Spring/Summer 2026 Faculty/Department Faculty of Arts Unit Arts-English Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Student Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary
- Student assistant will examine 5 late-medieval manuscripts in Archer Special Collections and take notes for detailed metadata
- In consultation with the supervisor, the student will undergo language training (Basic Latin + Italian)
- Student will co-design a website that will feature the manuscripts
- Student will conduct research on historical context of manuscripts
- Student will help to curate a research exhibit in Archer library Position Requirements
- Student must be enrolled in a graduate program in the Faculty of Arts
- Preference will be given to students enrolled in M.A. Program in English
- Preference will be given to students with experience in medieval studies Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419
