Core responsibilities
The individual youth counsellor will provide trauma-Informed counselling support to black youth, focusing on personal and social development, behavioral change, and family reintegration. They will work collaboratively within a multi-Disciplinary team to advocate for youth rights and provide necessary case management supports.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with black youth. Clinical training in individual counselling and strong interpersonal skills are also required.
