Special Education Teacher - SY 26-27

The special education teacher will support the educational and behavioral goals of students with individualized education programs by working cooperatively with general education teachers to modify curriculum and assist with classroom assignments. Key duties include conducting assessments, writing behavior plans, facilitating iep meetings, and integrating culturally responsive teaching practices into daily instruction.

Candidates must possess a current state license and knowledge of state standards and common core standards, along with experience in an inclusion or co-Teaching resource room model. High proficiency in written and verbal communication, microsoft office, and strong organizational skills are required, along with the ability to pass federal and state background checks.
