Diabetic Education Nurse (N3) - Endocrinology Ambulatory Care Clinic - Repost

The incumbent is responsible for teaching all aspects of diabetes self-Management to inpatients, outpatients, and their families, as well as providing in-Service education to staff and students. This role also involves developing, assessing, and revising educational materials for diabetes education.

A minimum of three years of recent experience in diabetes education is required, along with graduation from an approved school of nursing and current registration or eligibility for registration with the college of registered nurses of manitoba (Crnm). Candidates must also possess current bcls certification and be a certified diabetes educator or eligible to write the exam.
