Core responsibilities
The accessability assistant serves as the initial point of contact for students and faculty at the accessability centre, managing the organization of center activities including testing, note-Taking services, records, and accommodations. This role involves providing administrative support for testing accommodations, managing student records, and assisting students with functional disabilities with tasks like scribing or reading during classes.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a diploma of vocational studies (Dep) in an appropriate specialty or a high school diploma (Des) and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in both english and french. Proficiency with microsoft office software is required, and knowledge of clara and omnivox is considered an asset.
