The executive assistant provides highly sensitive and confidential administrative and project management support for the office of the provost, managing the provost’s calendar, coordinating meetings, and responding to campus inquiries with a high degree of autonomy. Key duties include drafting confidential communications, overseeing administrative support functions, interpreting policy, and providing lead oversight for administrative support and personnel processes.
Minimum requirements include the equivalent of a bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience, though experience can substitute for education year-For-Year. Candidates must possess advanced knowledge of business administration principles, excellent project planning skills, advanced analytical abilities, and demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in complex situations.
