This position involves overseeing various vocational training programs as a program owner, which includes maintaining schedules, mentoring instructors and students, planning skill stations, and overseeing daily instruction. The role also requires developing content, maintaining safety on training grounds, following established training protocols, and assisting with the training of emergency services staff.
Candidates must possess a post-Secondary school or technical school diploma/Certificate or equivalent experience, along with nfpa 1041 – level i certification as a fire service instructor or adult education certification, with preference given to level ii or a degree in education. Additional requirements include the ability to obtain valid ontario dz driver license, 'd/A' avop license, and transportation security clearance.
