Early Childhood Educator

Early childhood educators are responsible for ensuring a safe and engaging environment by designing and leading activities tailored to children's developmental stages using the ymca playing to learn curriculum. They must also cultivate positive relationships with parents, staff, and community partners to deliver high-Quality childcare.

A required early childhood educator (Ece) license recognized in british columbia is mandatory, along with emergency first aid and cpr-C & aed certification (To be obtained within 30 days of starting). Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary, while infant toddler educator or special needs educator certifications are considered assets.
