The pharmacist responds to drug information requests from healthcare providers and consumers, synthesizing evidence-Based information through research and contributing to drug-Therapy projects with health organizations. This role also involves contributing to undergraduate education within the college and delivering continuing education for healthcare professionals.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a doctor of pharmacy (Pharmd) and be licensed or eligible for licensure in saskatchewan, requiring a minimum of three years of pharmacy practice experience. Experience in student instruction is preferred, while expertise in drug information and critical appraisal is considered an asset.
