The veterinary student actively participates in the medical and technical activities of the clinic, contributing to patient care, technical support, and assisting in consultations and surgery under the supervision of a veterinarian. Responsibilities include assisting during consultations, performing delegated medical acts, monitoring hospitalized animals, and providing surgical assistance.
Candidates must be enrolled in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an avma-Accredited veterinary medicine program and must be authorized to work in canada. The role is a paid summer internship/Employment opportunity lasting 6 to 12 weeks, requiring full-Time commitment including evenings and weekends.
