Empower Tutoring

Provide online math tutoring sessions to high-school students in Ontario using a video platform, observing and evaluating student skill levels to determine progress and create personal academic plans. Help students with homework, concept learning, and act as a mentor to relate to them.
Applicants must be fluent in English and currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or hold a B.Ed. Prior tutoring or teaching experience within the Ontario system and good knowledge of the Ontario math curriculum are required.
Fluent in English Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's Degree in your field of study or a B.Ed Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Ontario is required Good knowledge of the Ontario math curriculum Have access to a computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection Be available during some weeknights (past 4 PM) and weekends Ability to tutor other subjects (i.e. English, French, etc.) is a bonus! Tutoring Sessions Tutors can create their own schedules based on client preference and personal preference. Tutors can accept and decline tutoring opportunities but should be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.
