Provide online math tutoring sessions to high school students while monitoring their progress and skill development. Collaborate with parents to create personalized academic plans and support students with homework and new concepts.
We are looking for a passionate, experienced tutor who has a strong background in Mathematics and can tutor high school students in Grade 9-Grade 12.
Candidates should be familiar with the Ontario high school curriculum, including Functions, Calculus, etc.
Being able to tutor other high school subjects such as science is a bonus but not necessary.
This position will be completely remote and all tutoring will be done online.
Applicants should be currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's Degree in a related field study OR your BEd.

Be able to relate to the students and act as a mentor to them
Fluent in English Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's Degree in your field of study or a B.Ed Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Ontario is required Good knowledge of the Ontario math curriculum Have access to a computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection Be available during some weeknights (past 4 PM) and weekends Ability to tutor other subjects (i.e. English, French, etc.) is a bonus! Tutoring Sessions Tutors can create their own schedules based on client preference and personal preference. Tutors can accept and decline tutoring opportunities but should be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.
