Empower Tutoring

The role involves providing online math tutoring sessions to high-school students in Ontario via a video platform, observing skill levels, and collaborating with parents to create personal academic improvement plans. Tutors must also help students with homework, concept learning, and act as mentors.
Applicants must be fluent in English and either currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or hold a B.Ed. Prior tutoring or teaching experience within the Ontario curriculum is required, along with access to a computer, webcam, and stable internet.
Fluent in English Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's Degree in your field of study or a B.Ed Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Ontario is required Good knowledge of the Ontario math curriculum Have access to a computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection Be available during some weeknights (past 4 PM) and weekends Ability to tutor other subjects (i.e. English, French, etc.) is a bonus! Tutoring Sessions Tutors can create their own schedules based on client preference and personal preference. Tutors can accept and decline tutoring opportunities but should be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.
