The technologist will assist culinary program professors by supervising students in kitchen and dining room labs, providing practical demonstrations, and resolving operational issues. Responsibilities also include overseeing practical learning activities, preparing schedules, purchasing supplies, and providing feedback on student performance.
Candidates must possess a minimum two-Year diploma in a hospitality-Related field, preferably culinary arts, along with required certifications like smart serve, first aid/Cpr, and basic food safety training. A minimum of three years of commercial kitchen/Dining room management experience and five years in the hospitality or culinary environment are mandatory.
