Student respiratory therapists will observe the respiratory management of patients, shadow clinicians, and be introduced to the care of complex, chronic, and palliative patients under direct supervision. They will also gain experience with respiratory equipment setup, patient assessment, education, and administrative processes within the integrated health network.
Applicants must be students currently enrolled in a recognized canadian respiratory therapy program and in the process of completing their second year of study. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate enthusiasm for exceptional patient care, be team-Focused, customer service driven, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
