The team lead will manage the daily operation and delivery of early childhood care services, including providing creative programming for children in a group setting while adhering to the ymca playing to learn curriculum. Major responsibilities include directly supervising staff, maintaining a safe environment, managing administrative tasks like scheduling and reporting, and building positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
Candidates must possess a basic early childhood educator (Ece) certification recognized in british columbia, with an infant toddler educator (Ite) license being preferred, and special needs educator (Sne) being an asset. Required experience includes one to three years of supervisory experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and obtaining emergency first aid and cpr-C & aed certification within 30 days of starting.
