The primary duties involve safely driving groups of children to and from school throughout the day, supervising them during transitions, and actively engaging with school-Age children during field trips and at the center. Responsibilities also include cultivating positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues while strictly adhering to all relevant regulations and policies.
Candidates must possess a current class 4 driver's license and prior experience driving daycare or school buses is an asset, as is having or being willing to obtain an alberta child care certification (Level 1, 2, or 3). Essential qualities include strong driving skills, experience with children, fluency in english, high motivation, professionalism, and the ability to pass a criminal record check and obtain first aid certification.
