Swim Instructor

As a swim instructor, the primary duty is to provide direct leadership, instruction, and motivation to help participants meet or exceed established swimming standards. This includes planning and organizing classes through daily and long-Term lesson plans while maintaining class safety through proper formations and scanning techniques.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old and possess several current certifications, including lifesaving society bronze cross or national lifeguard, swim/Lifesaving/Emergency first aid instructor, standard first aid with cpr c, and airway management. All qualifications must remain current throughout the work term.
