Youth care workers are responsible for ensuring client safety and well-Being, developing and implementing therapeutic interventions, and assisting clients in various activities. They also contribute to ongoing treatment planning and respond to crisis situations.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in a mental health treatment setting, and a high school education is required. Additional certifications such as first aid/Cpr and a valid driver's license are also necessary.
