The standardized patient will accurately and consistently recreate the history of a patient or related person for training scenarios at the ingram school of nursing. They will also be coached to provide directed feedback pertinent to the scenario and must adhere to all school rules and maintain strict confidentiality.
Candidates need a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience in the dramatic arts, along with good communication skills and the ability to work maturely with sensitive matters. Experience in performance and bilingualism are considered assets.
